The 2022-23 Europa League winners have struggled on the domestic front in recent years, leading to a number of different managers at the helm.
Garcia Pimienta faced going the same way as his predecessors when starting the current campaign without collecting a win in the opening four matches.
However, seven points have been accumulated from the last four games at a time when Pimienta has been handed a new contract by the club's powers-that-be.
As a result of that development, Pimienta and Sevilla officials can plan ahead for the next transfer window as they bid to earn a return to European football.
Sarabia on Sevilla radar
According to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, Sarabia is very much on their radar ahead of the turn of the year.
The 32-year-old is no stranger to life in the city having contributed 42 goals from 151 appearances for the club between 2016 and 2019.
Although Sarabia subsequently went on to win three Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint-Germain, the best form of his career was produced at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and a loan stint with Sporting Lisbon.
As it stands, Sarabia is allegedly unhappy with his role at Wolves having dropped down the pecking order under Gary O'Neil.
Sarabia impressively chipped in with four goals and seven assists in 30 Premier League outings last season, only 20 of which coming from the starting lineup.
Nevertheless, in sharp contrast this time around, Sarabia has accumulated just 28 minutes of top-flight action across two substitute outings, remaining unused on the bench in the last four Premier League games.
Is there any way back under O'Neil?
With Wolves yet to win in the league during 2024-25, there is scope for Sarabia to be handed an opportunity in the first XI should Wolves' form continue or O'Neil depart Molineux.
However, with Sarabia now 32 years of age and his contract due to expire next summer, there is little chance of a renewal.
The Spain international may have to accept a period on the sidelines before being sold for a cut-price fee in January.
