The Hammers enjoyed a superb season in Europe last season, reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League before losing to eventual champions Eintracht Frankfurt.
They finished seventh in the Premier League and will now be looking to qualify for Europe's third competition this term.
First, they face a two-legged play-off clash against Viborg.
Jacob Friis' Greens also claimed seventh in the Danish Superliga last season and West Ham will be eager to avoid a slip up against the minnows.

West Ham v Viborg FF: What has been said?
Former West Ham defender Winston Reid joined the Hammers from Viborg's Danish rivals Midtjylland in 2010.
On this tie, he said: "Viborg is about 45 minutes' drive from Herning, the city where Midtjylland play, so they were our rivals, as you say.
"Viborg were an up-and-down club for a few seasons but they came up a couple of years ago and are doing well now.
"When I was growing up, they were quite a bit club and won the Danish Cup and played in Europe.
"This is a big game for them and their players will see it as a chance to play against a Premier League team and potentially catch the eye, a bit like when players from smaller clubs play against Premier League teams in the FA Cup."
