Wednesday's Brasileiro predictions including Fluminense vs. Palmeiras

These sides enter this match headed in opposite directions in the league table, with the hosts currently in 15th place while the visitors are fourth.

While Criciuma have maintained an impressive home record this season, they could struggle here against an in-form opponent and without a recognised manager in the dugout.

Juventude will look to keep their unbeaten run in Brasileiro going when they head to Estadio Governador Magalhaes Pinto to take on Cruzeiro on Wednesday night.

The hosts enter this contest in seventh place in the league standings after 17 matches, while the visitors are now up to 12th place and have played a game less than their opponents.

We say: Cruzeiro 2-1 Juventude

What we have here is a matchup between a side that has been flawless at home in the league this season, against an opponent who has yet to win an away game on the road this term. We feel the hosts will keep their excellent home record intact with another victory in this one.

Sao Paulo vs. Botafogo (Wednesday, 11.30pm)

Arguably the pick of the gameweek 19 fixtures in Brasileiro will come from MorumBIS, where Sao Paulo will lock horns with Botafogo on Wednesday night.

Both sides have enjoyed an impressive first half of the campaign, with the hosts now in fifth place while the visitors are the side to beat, currently leading the league standings.

Avoiding a fourth straight defeat will be the major objective for Vitoria when they welcome Flamengo to the Barradao on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the away side head to Salvador in search of consecutive victories having picked up a first win in three matches last time out.

Off the back of three defeats in a row by a combined score of 6-1, Vitoria have it all to do here as they face off against the division's highest-scoring team. We are backing Flamengo to cruise to a routine win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Fluminense vs. Palmeiras (Thursday, 1.30am)

Fresh off the back of picking up their first league win since April, Fluminense play host to Palmeiras in round 19 of the Brasileiro Serie A on Wednesday.

The Verdao have failed to taste victory in any of their last six visits to the Estadio do Maracana since a 1-0 win in September 2017 and will head into the midweek clash looking to end this poor run.

Buoyed by their results at Cuiaba, Fluminense will head into Wednesday's tie with confidence as they look to continue their surge from the danger zone. However, Palmeiras have put together a solid run of results in recent weeks and we fancy them to secure all three points at the Maracana.

Atletico GO vs. Bahia (Thursday, 1.30am)

Atletico Goianiense will be keen to end a run of nine matches without a victory when Bahia come visiting Estadio Antonio Accioly on Wednesday.

The away side, meanwhile, will be looking to arrest a slump in form which has seen them lose three of their last four matches.
