'Utter madness' - Old Firm Derby delayed by broken glass bottle in Hart's area

The former Manchester City shot-stopper flagged up the smashed glass as his side ran back out onto the Ibrox pitch, with groundsmen required to come and clean up the potentially hazardous glass.

Celtic rejoined the fray 2-1 up in Scotland's biggest derby, with goals from Tom Rogic and Cameron Carter-Vickers wiping out a third minute Aaron Ramsey opener.

talkSPORT's in-ground correspondent David Tanner described the scenes as "utter madness," with the game later resuming after a lengthy delay.

"The game had a five minute delay in restarting," Tanner explained.

"Joe Hart complained that something had been thrown at him and it turned out that it was a beer bottle.

"About 20 Rangers staff had to go on and pick up all the shards of glass, hopefully all the shards of glass, from in and around the six yard box - utter madness."
