Chelsea have continued to splash the cash under Todd Boehly in January - and they may yet spend more this month.
The Blues have made Mykhaylo Mudryk their marquee midseason arrival despite the fact he was firmly on Arsenal's radar before they were beaten to his signature by their London rivals. The Premier League leaders are also hoping to bolster their own ranks further, with Leandro Trossard among the names to already arrive.
Liverpool and Manchester City are unlikely to do any business in the final six days of the January transfer window, whilst Manchester United, who have already welcomed Jack Butland and Wout Weghorst on loan, are also set to wait until the summer before they spend their millions.

Saints youngster in demand
Arsenal will challenge Leeds and Manchester City for Southampton youngster Jimmy-Jay Morgan, according to Sky Sports.
The 17-year-old forward has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the Saints academy, but is now stalling on signing a first professional contract. The England youth international has attracted plenty of attention from other clubs and Southampton could lose him.
Morgan has 14 goals and 10 assists in 35 appearances for Southampton under-18s and B team and is considered one of the most exciting young players in the country.

Tete on West Ham's radar
West Ham are monitoring Leicester's interest in Shakhtar's Brazilian winger Tete.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Lyon where he has six goals in 17 appearances this season. He provided two assists in his side's French cup game against Chambray last Saturday.
Hammers boss David Moyes remains determined to continue with his bid to bring down the average age of his squad. Having brought in World Cup star Lucas Pacqueta last summer, the Scot made it clear that he sees the 25-year-old as a gateway signing, able to attract other quality players to the London Stadium.
Shakhtar are understood to be prepared to sell Tete, but Lyon have an option to make the player's loan permanent for a fixed price of £17.5m. Leicester would then be at the head of the Premier League queue having had a long-standing interest.
Should Lyon decide not to exercise their option to buy, interested Premier League clubs would have to persuade them to agree to release Tete from the rest of his season-long loan.

Dortmund winning Fresneda race
Borussia Dortmund have beaten Arsenal and a whole host of other Premier League clubs to the signing of Ivan Fresneda, according to Marca.
Fresneda has been watched by lots of scouts recently, with Real Madrid and Newcastle among the other clubs interested in signing the Real Valladolid right-back.
He is poised to leave Valladolid and is valued at around €15million (£13.2m) - but there has been an almighty battle for the Spanish under-19 international's signature. Arsenal are 'still alive' in the chase, but Dortmund's proposition is reportedly the most attractive, with Fresneda and his entourage impressed by the route to the first team in Germany.
Dortmund have offered €10m plus €2m in bonuses and would send the 18-year-old back to Valladolid on loan until the end of the season.

Caicedo speaks out
Moises Caicedo has insisted he is happy at Brighton, despite strong transfer interest.
Chelsea saw a £55million bid rejected last week for the Ecuador international and, while it looks like he will stay put in the next six days, Arsenal are ready to rival the Blues for the 21-year-old midfielder's signature in the summer, according to the Evening Standard.
"I am focused on Brighton, I am here, I'm playing every day. Things from outside don't trouble me, nor does it take that focus away because I'm focused only on here," he told Brighton website.
"I handle [the speculation] well. You hear rumours here and there, but I only try to be focused on the club where I am now, the club which opened the doors for me to be playing every week."

Danjuma snubs Everton for Spurs
Everton's decision to sack Frank Lampard is set to cost them the loan signing of Arnaut Danjuma, with Tottenham swooping to hijack the transfer.
The Villarreal star believed the Toffees would stick by the beleaguered former Chelsea boss, only to dismiss Lampard on Monday afternoon.
Although Danjuma is understood to have completed a Goodison medical, he did not finalise the paperwork, allowing Spurs the opportunity to move in. He was expected at the fifth-placed club's training facility on Tuesday afternoon with a view to undergoing a medical and signing off on the deal.

Chelsea haven't given up on Fernandez
Enzo Fernandez was one of the biggest names in the early stages of the January transfer window before things went quiet.
Chelsea pursued the Argentina World Cup star aggressively - and thought they were close to sealing a club-record deal - only for Benfica to push back hard.
Reports from Portugal yesterday suggest that the deal isn't dead in the water. Chelsea have signed six players this month so are clearly happy to continue splashing the cash under Todd Boehly.
We will bring you all the latest throughout the day.

Danjuma on the move?
Everton thought they had the former Bournemouth man, who has since shone at Villarreal.
However, despite the pieces being put in place, it looks as if Tottenham have swooped in and could've signed the forward.
