Thiago has labelled his Liverpool teammate Fabinho as "world class" despite Jurgen Klopp stating recently that the Brazilian doesn't need public praise.
The Reds' midfielder has been impressive ever since his arrival in 2018.
Fabinho, who cost north of £40m, has been crucial in his defensive role, often allowing his team to push on and sustain attacks.
Thiago arrived last summer from Bayern Munich but has begun to enjoy a consistent run of games this term.
Playing alongside the Brazilian has allowed him to see first hand how impressive he is with the Spaniard thankful for the insurance policy he provides.
"He's a world-class player that gives us confidence to try different things," Thiago told Stadium Astro.

"Because if we fail doing that, we know we have a guy we can rely on.
"He will defend, he will be there for you and also, he is a magnificent player on the ball."
Klopp has seen first hand for more than three years how good Fabinho is.
The 28-year-old is one of several classy midfield linchpins currently operating in the Premier League.
Rodri and N'Golo Kante do equally effective roles for Manchester City and Chelsea respectively, but Klopp has no interest in trying to single his man out as the best.
The German said: "He doesn't need public praise, so it's all fine he can have a normal life.
"He is an exceptional player, is he the best in the position? I don't know, who cares.
"He is a top, top, class player and that's very long for the club and hopefully at the weekend."
Fabinho's quality is such that he filled in at centre-half last season as the Reds battled a defensive injury crisis.
Now, back in his favoured position, the former Monaco man is trying to assist Liverpool in regaining their Premier League crown.
The Merseyside outfit are chasing champions Manchester City, but are very much in the hunt.
Fabinho claimed earlier this year that he believes he can continue improving, declaring himself among the best.
"Liverpool is the best place for me," he said at the start of the season. "They have a great team and one of the best managers in the world, the best conditions to play football.
"I think I can still improve. I feel important, I feel I am one of the best players in my position.
"I think if I have good conditions for the rest of my career, I believe I can be the best player in my position. That's what I will try."
