Almere City vs. Vitesse (Sunday, 11.15am)
Almere City will be aiming to snap a run of three straight defeats when they welcome Vitesse to the Yanmar Stadion on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, the away side go in search of consecutive victories for the first time this season having returned to winning ways last time out.
We say: Almere City 1-1 Vitesse
Given the defensive records of both sides heading into this one, we expect neither of them to come away with a clean sheet. We can also see the spoils being shared at the end of the 90 minutes, with the teams having to make do with a point apiece.
Sparta vs. FC Twente (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Round 16 of the 2023-24 Eredivisie season sees Sparta Rotterdam play host to FC Twente at the Sparta Stadion Het Kasteel on Sunday afternoon.
Both teams picked up contrasting results in their last outings, but we are anticipating a keenly-contested affair this weekend nonetheless.
We say: Sparta Rotterdam 1-2 FC Twente
Twente have dominated this fixture to a large degree of late and will back themselves to secure maximum points this weekend. We are tipping the away side to get the job done, albeit by only a narrow margin.
Heracles vs. Feyenoord (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Two teams at opposing ends of the Eredivisie table will meet on Sunday as second-placed Feyenoord make the trip to face Heracles.
The hosts head into the match on the back of consecutive defeats, currently sitting in 14th place.
We say: Heracles 0-3 Feyenoord
Heracles have the home advantage, and that should lead to them providing some problems for their opponents.
However, Feyenoord should have more than enough quality to get through this particular match to take three points to aid their title challenge.
Ajax vs. PEC Zwolle (Sunday, 3.45pm)
Ajax will bid to continue their recent resurgence on Sunday when they play host to PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie.
At a time when the home side occupy fifth place in the standings, the visitors currently sit in the mid-table spots after an indifferent spell of form.
We say: Ajax 4-0 PEC Zwolle
Regardless of the short turnaround from Thursday night, we fully expect this to be one-way traffic. While the visitors netted five times in their last away game, they may not trouble the scorers on this occasion.
AZ vs. PSV (Sunday, 7.00pm)
PSV Eindhoven will be bidding to make it 16 successive victories in the Eredivisie when they travel to AZ Alkmaar on Sunday.
While the visitors hold a 10-point lead in first place, AZ are in third in the standings and motivated to respond to their early elimination from Europe.
We say: AZ Alkmaar 1-3 PSV Eindhoven
Jansen will be eager for his players to record a statement result, one which will help ease any pressure on his shoulders. Nevertheless, we cannot back against a rampant PSV who we feel will thoroughly outclass one of their rivals for the title.
