The 21-year-old was one of the Saints' shining stars who stayed at the club following their relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2022-23 term.
Alcaraz started the Championship season as a key part of Russell Martin's plans, playing in 23 and starting 13 second-tier matches for the South Coast club.
Following a healthy return of three goals and one assist, the Argentine secured a temporary move to Italian giants Juventus for the remainder of the campaign in January.
Despite the significant step up from the Championship, Alcaraz impressed whilst in Turin, featuring in 10 Serie A matches for the Old Lady.
Southampton 'receive' enquiries for Alcaraz
According to TEAMtalk, Southampton star Alcaraz is the subject of interest from around world football as the transfer window draws to a close.
The report claims that two unnamed Premier League outfits have enquired about the possibility of securing the services of the 21-year-old this summer.
It is also understood that Italian side Lazio are exploring a deal for the former Racing Club attacker, who was called up to his national side in October 2023 but failed to earn his maiden cap.
As well as in Europe, there is said to be serious interest in Alcaraz from South America, with Brazilian giants Flamengo supposedly preparing a £15.4m bid for the attacker.
With Alcaraz contracted to the South Coast club until the summer of 2028, Southampton are in a great position to drive a hard bargain for the player.
Does Alcaraz want to leave Southampton?
Despite plenty of potential suitors for the forward across Europe and beyond, Alcaraz is not expected to depart from St Mary's this summer.
It is believed that the youngster is fully integrated into Martin's squad as they prepare to open their Premier League term with a trip to Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
Alcaraz is said to be invested in the project on the South Coast, where the Saints will be aiming to avoid relegation whilst sticking to their possession-based style of football.
