Man United produced one of their best performances of the season, securing a 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.
Two goals from Scott McTominay mean the Red Devils are now just three points behind Manchester City.
Both Rashford and Martial were left out of the starting XI, having managed just four goals between them so far.
And Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice left-back Shaw had 'liked' a post that had posted quotes from Man United legend Patrice Evra.
The tweet from the Frenchman read: "I think it will be difficult for Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to get back into the starting XI."

Shaw was quick to reply to those who had noticed his actions.
The England international said: "Come on don't be silly, obviously not intentional."
Rashford entered the fray in the 84th minute, replacing Rasmus Hojlund, while Martial remained an unused substitute.
Having netted 30 goals last season, Rashford has struggled to replicate that form in the 2023/24 season so far.

Speaking after the match, Ten Hag said: "I think, in the first half, we created a lot of chances, by 30 minutes, we could go up by three goals maybe.
"To be fair, they outplayed us as well, one, two or three times and also created chances but you make your own luck when you have the spirit we showed today."
