Willem II vs. PSV (Saturday, 3.30pm)
Round seven of the 2021-22 Eredivisie season gets underway on Saturday when Willem II welcome PSV Eindhoven to the Koning Willem II Stadion.
The sides currently find themselves at the top end of the league standings following strong starts to the campaign and this weekend's game has all the makings of an absorbing contest.
We say: Willem II 0-2 PSV Eindhoven
PSV were not at their best last time out but still had the wherewithal to secure all three points. While we expect a more convincing performance this time around, we are also backing the away side to coast to victory at the full-time whistle.
Ajax vs. Groningen (Saturday, 5.45pm)
Eredivisie champions Ajax welcome Groningen to the Johan Cruyff ArenA on Saturday in search of a fourth home league victory on the bounce.
The away side, on the other hand, are without a win since the opening weekend and will be looking to put an end to this barren run of form.
We say: Ajax 4-0 Groningen
Ajax are firm favorites for this one as they have swept everything before them on home ground this term. The visit of a struggling Groningen side serves up an opportunity for the champions to keep their good run going and we fancy them to carry the day in comfortable fashion.
Vitesse vs. Sittard (Saturday, 5.45pm)
Aiming to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat, Fortuna Sittard visit the GelreDome on Sunday to take on Vitesse in round seven of the Eredivisie season.
The hosts, meanwhile, are yet to pick up home league victory this term and will be looking to end this run at the third time of asking.
We say: Vitesse 2-1 Fortuna Sittard
Vitesse have not yet hit the heights of last season but will fancy themselves to come out on top against an out of sorts Fortuna side. We are tipping the home team to come away with all three points at the sound of the final whistle in what should be an open and exciting affair.
Feyenoord vs. NEC (Saturday, 8.00pm)
In search of a third consecutive league win, high-flying Feyenoord welcome newcomers NEC to De Kuip on Saturday in matchday seven of the 2021-22 Eredivisie campaign.
On the other hand, the away side make the journey looking a end a barren run of three games without a victory since picking up back to back triumphs in the final week of August.
We say: Feyenoord 3-0 NEC
Feyenoord seem to have weathered the storm following a rough start to the season and are now playing at the level we have come to expect. We are backing them to see off the threat of NEC and claim all three points in style.
Utrecht vs. PEC Zwolle (Saturday, 8.00pm)
Looking to pick up their first Eredivisie win of the season, PEC Zwolle take a trip to the Stadion Galgenwaard to face FC Utrecht on Saturday.
The hosts head into the game fresh off the back of an impressive victory over NEC and will be seeking to carry on the momentum from that performance and strengthen their position in the top half of the table.
We say: FC Utrecht 2-0 PEC Zwolle
Both sides have had contrasting starts to the new campaign with PEC Zwolle struggling to find their feet. Their early struggles has been down to their frailties in attack, an area needing strengthening if they aim to move out of the wrong end of the table. Utrecht, meanwhile, appear to have hit their stride and we predict they will take advantage of their home crowd support and claim all three points.
