Sancho came off the bench against Darmstadt in the Bundesliga on Saturday just hours after signing from Manchester United on loan.
And the 23-year-old made an instant impact, teeing up Marco Reus for a tap-in to put Dortmund two goals up as BVB went on to win 3-0.
It was the perfect response to one Darmstadt fan, who heckled the winger before he came on.
As Sky Sports cameras caught the United loanee making his way to the dugout, one fan in the stands at the Merck-Stadion am Bollenfalltor was less than welcoming.
A voice from the crowd could be heard shouting: "Erik ten Hag wants to talk to you! You're a lazy f*****!"

Sancho was unfazed by the comment, as he looked to have smirked under his snood.
And he let his feet do the talking on the pitch as he took over from English compatriot Jamie Bytoe-Gittens on the right-hand side.
Sancho has not played professionally since August after being frozen out of the United team for lashing out at Ten Hag on social media.
And it did not take him long to get back into the groove, picking up the ball on the flank before driving toward goal.

With a simple pass across the goalmouth, Reus had the easy task of tapping into an empty net as the Dortmund players celebrated wildly with Sancho.
The forward was making his second debut for the German outfit after leaving for United in 2021.

Just 30 months later and he has returned - albeit on loan until the end of the season.
With no buy option included, it means Sancho will be going back to United at the end of the season.
But his future remains very much up in the air with his relationship with Ten Hag still at rock bottom.
Sancho was internally suspended by the Red Devils coach after hitting out at the Dutchman for leaving him out against Arsenal in early September.
Ten Hag had insisted that Sancho had not trained right for the occasion, something that the player disputed.
