Goals from Will Boyle, Ollie Palmer, Jack Bickerstaff and Elliot Lee saw the Welsh side claim their first win of the campaign, and the club's first win in the Football League since May 2008.
And Dragons co-owner Rob McElhenney shared his delight after the final whistle, saying on X: "First league win!!! Congrats to all!!!!"
While fellow co-owner Ryan Reynolds said: "Looking very good under the lights in Wrexham tonight."
McElhenney and Reynolds have been the catalyst towards the club's climb back to the EFL, Wrexham returning to the EFL having been relegated in 2008, as they won the National League title last season.
Wrexham won the vast majority of their games last term but somewhat stuttered in their EFL return, losing to the MK Dons and drawing at AFC Wimbledon - but they managed a Carabao Cup triumph over League One side Wigan last week.

They've had to start the season without star striker Paul Mullin, who's been nursing a punctured lung and four fractured ribs he sustained during a pre-season friendly against Manchester United last month.
Mullin was forced to stay behind in the USA to recover but has since made a return to the country and Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson offered an encouraging update on the 28-year-old.
"We've got really good news in terms of the progression he's made with his ribs and his lung," Parkinson told talkSPORT.
"He's been lucky to get away with what he had. He's a great kid, who's so tough and he'll be back as soon as he possibly can."
