Rio Ferdinand has reiterated his concerns about Aaron Wan-Bissaka's future at Manchester United under Ralf Rangnick.
The right-back was left on the bench in favour of Diogo Dalot for the German's first Premier League outing against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, Ferdinand claimed Wan-Bissaka and fellow full-back Luke Shaw could struggle to play regularly under Rangnick.
"I've got to be honest, Wan-Bissaka has got a hell of a job getting back in this team. The same for Luke Shaw," said the United icon.
"They've both got one hell of a job. One thing this manager likes is full-backs who can actually play and get on the ball.

"As well as doing the other stuff like pressing, he wants output with the ball. That's the weakest part of Wan-Bissaka's game, there's going to be a big fight for him to get back into this team."
Wan-Bissaka returned to the starting XI for United's 1-1 draw against Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
But Rangnick was playing a second-string team, with the likes of Dean Henderson, Donny van de Beek, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard getting a chance.
And, speaking to BT Sport after the game, Wan-Bissaka did little to ease Ferdinand's fears.
"I just feel with Wan-Bissaka he needs to work on his game with the ball," said the ex-United captain.
"Full-backs today are controllers of the game. No8s, midfielders were always the conductors. Nowadays, the players who are getting most touches are the full-backs.
"So you have to be good at receiving the ball and playing it over various distances and adding different layers to your game.
"In Wan-Bissaka, if you are talking about the top right backs in the country, that's where he falls short.
"What is there for him, he can see it. You know what you need to work on. It is clear for all to see. That is what the manager needs and that's what the manager wants.
"He must now thinking, 'Right, how am I going to going to enable myself to be able to execute in those situations.'
"That comes with repetition on the training ground and working on the pitch and the coaches."
Wan-Bissaka may have to wait for his chance to impress Rangnick after being stretchered off at the end of Wednesday's game against Young Boys.
The defender collided with an advertising board, hurting his knee, and also suffered a knock to his wrist earlier in the evening.
United's next game is against Premier League rivals Norwich at Carrow Road on Saturday.
"It was also good to see Luke Shaw back," said Rangnick. "Hopefully he can at least be a candidate for the Norwich game in the squad.
"Aaron got two knocks again. One on the wrist another one on the knee, so we have to see how this will develop by Saturday."
