Everton forward Richarlison grabbed the Champions League winner by the shirt, with the likes of Neymar wading in on the two.
Richarlison has hit the headlines in England for his trolling of rival Liverpool fans, and would likely be grateful to his countryman for downing the Reds in the Champions League final.
Vinicius scored the matchwinner for Real Madrid against Liverpool and Richarlison was one of the first to welcome him to his national set-up after a short break ahead of a series of friendlies, with Brazil already booking their place in the 2022 World Cup.
The 21-year-old saw 19 minutes of action during a 5-1 win over South Korea, in which Richarlison scored the opener, and reports claim he will replace the Toffees striker for their next fixture against Japan on Monday.
And in a rather unique way Richarlison wishes Vinicius Jr the best of luck with a jokey tug of his training top.
Vinicius has also spent the international meet-up winding up Madrid teammate Karim Benzema, with the duo forming a world class partnership for the LaLiga-winning side.
The former Flamengo man revealed his French companion dreams of facing Brazil in the final in Qatar, but doesn't think he will have any luck.
"Benzema hopes to catch us in the final," he said. "But I don't think it will go his way.
"We sometimes comment [about the World Cup], I hope we don't get caught beforehand, to face each other in the final. And then may the best win."
The Brazilian also commented on his Champions League winning goal, saying there's plenty left for him to achieve in the game.
He said: "It's definitely the biggest and best moment so far [of my career].
"As I said, I don't want to stop here, I want to continue making history and evolve to do great things in football.
"At the age of 21, being in the national team and scoring in the Champions League final is a huge [thing to top], it gives me [more] to dream about."
