There were brilliant scenes at the Racecourse Ground as fans invaded the pitch to celebrate with the owners in tears in the stands.
Wrexham lifted the trophy and McElhenney and Reynolds were involved in plenty of the celebrations.
The Deadpool actor even gatecrashed Ben Foster and Elliot Lee's press conference so he could get his hands on their shirts.

Reynolds said: "Foster, Foster… jersey. Now!"
Taking off his shirt, Foster replied: "It stinks, by the way. It absolutely stinks."
Turning to Elliott Lee, Reynolds added: "Are you wearing an undershirt? Give me your shirt."

Lee said: "Can't say no to the owner, can I?"

A journalist asked if Reynolds was planning to put them on eBay, and he said: "Listen, I work in show business and we've fallen on hard times."
Once the Hollywood star had left the room, Foster explained: "He text me for that shirt earlier. He's so hungry for the shirt.
"He was going 'make sure you don't throw it into the crowd, I need that'.

"They're brilliant, they absolutely love it. They're fully in. They're one of the boys, they won't come in shouting or raving, they'll celebrate and get behind the lads.
"They understand that you're not always going to win and play 10 out of 10. You're not always going to smash teams out of the park.
"They understand that sport is a game where the opposition wants to win just as much.
"They don't always expect instant results. They've been here two years now and last year was a big disappointment.
