Mark Kennedy's men head into the game fresh off the back of ending their three-match winless run and will be looking to pick up where they dropped off at the weekend.
Match preview
Leyton Orient were sent crashing back to earth on Saturday evening as they suffered a somewhat disappointing 1-0 defeat against Fleetwood Town at the Highbury Stadium.
In a heated contest where both sides finished with 10 men, former Derby County striker Jack Marriott came up clutch for the hosts as he netted the only goal of the game in the 56th minute to hand them their first win of the season.
Prior to that, Leyton Orient were on a four-game unbeaten run, picking up one draw and three wins, including a penalty-shootout victory over Fulham Under-21 in the EFL Trophy on September 19.
Having clinched the League Two title last season to secure promotion to the English third tier, Richie Wellens's men have picked up 11 points from their opening 10 league matches to sit 16th in the League One table.
Leyton Orient now return home, where they have won three of their last four matches across all competitions, with a 3-0 defeat against Stevenage on September 2 being the exception.
Lincoln City, on the other hand, finally stopped the rot as they picked up a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Cheltenham Town when the sides squared off on Saturday afternoon.
In a cagey affair at LNER Stadium, Danish midfielder Lasse Sorensen turned in a performance of the highest quality as he struck twice in the first half to condemn the visitors to a ninth defeat in their opening 10 league matches.
Saturday's victory also saw the Imps snap their three-match losing streak across all competitions, a run which saw them crash out of the EFL Cup in the third round following a 1-0 loss against West Ham United on September 27.
Lincoln City have now picked up four wins, three draws and lost two of their nine League One matches this season to collect 15 points and sit 10th in the table, level on points with 11th-placed Blackpool.

Team News
Leyton Orient will take to the pitch without 22-year-old midfielder Ethan Galbraith, who is set to serve a one-match suspension for his sending off against Fleetwood at the weekend.
Wellens's side also lost skipper Omar Beckles to a game-ending injury right on the hour mark in the aforementioned game and the 31-year-old is a major doubt for Tuesday's tie.
Should he fail to shake off the injury in time for the game, English centre-back Daniel Happe could come into the fold, forming the back three with Brandon Cooper and Welshman Thomas James.
Sorensen took his goal involvement tally to four with his brace against Cheltenham on Saturday and the Lincoln City midfielder will look to deliver the goods once again.
On the injury front, the Imps remain without the services of Lewis Montsma, Tyler Walker and Ben House, who all continue their spells on the sidelines.
Leyton Orient possible starting lineup:
Brynn; James, Happe, Cooper; Archibald, Pratley, Mizouni, Graham; Sotiriou, Pigott, Moncur
Lincoln City possible starting lineup:
Jensen; Roughan, Jackson, O'Connor; Brown, Erhahon, Hamilton, Sorensen; Bishop, Adelakun, Hackett-Fairchild
We say: Leyton Orient 2-1 Lincoln City
Fresh off the back of the back of snapping a five-match winless run, Lincoln City will head into Tuesday with renewed confidence as they look to put together a fine run of form. However, barring Saturday's loss to Fleetwood, Leyton Orient have been rock-solid of late and we see them edging out the visitors in this one.
