Premier League 100 club: Kane closes in on 200, Salah equals Hasselbaink tally

sportsmole.co.uk, 26 December 2022, 20:19
Two of the Premier League's most prolific marksmen got their seasons back up and running with immediate effect as top-flight football returned after the World Cup break on Boxing Day.

Harry Kane sparked a quickfire comeback for Tottenham Hotspur as they recovered from two goals down to draw with Brentford, edging him ever closer to becoming only the third player in Premier League history to score 200 goals.

Mohamed Salah then opened the scoring for Liverpool in their eventual 3-1 win over Aston Villa to take him on to 127 goals and move him into the top 15 of the Premier League's all-time top-scorers, now level with Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink.
