The 21-year-old has been a key player for table-topping Spurs this season, featuring in all ten Premier League games under the Australian's tutelage.
Sarr was used sparingly by Antonio Conte last term, as he appeared in just 14 games in all competitions, with 11 coming in the top flight.
But he has been an ever-present figure this campaign, with the Senegal international forging a brilliant partnership alongside Yves Bissouma and James Maddison in midfield.
The youngster is also often the first player to help out centre-backs Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, while also assisting forward Heung-min Son up top.
It has led to speculation from fans as to what his best position is, with Postecoglou claiming he can play anywhere in midfield - and can also do a job in defence.

Speaking in his press conference on Thursday, the ex-Celtic manager was asked whether Sarr's long-term position will be as a defensive midfielder, a box-to-box midfielder or as a No.10.
To which he said: "The good thing is that he can run and play all three at once.
"I think with Pape when you consider his age, it is just his ability to embrace the challenge of playing in a midfield role, particularly for us when it is quite multi-functional in terms of what's needed from him.
"He has this great capacity, for him it's a great strength to just run and provide energy in all different areas.
