The 29-year-old midfielder returned to the Italian giants on a free transfer earlier this summer after his contract at Manchester United expired.
A calf problem suffered in April during a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool ruled Pogba out for the end of the 2021/22 season - and the Frenchman has now suffered yet another setback.
After returning to action for Juve in a pre-season friendly against Chivas Guadalajara on Saturday, Pogba limped out of a subsequent training session.
Having conducted medical checks, the Old Lady revealed that Pogba suffered a 'lesion of lateral meniscus' - but did not confirm whether surgery would be required.
Pogba will now miss the next leg of Juve's pre-season tour, which includes friendlies against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletco Madrid.
The Serie A side are set to complete more medical checks.
But, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba requires surgery and looks set to miss two months of action.
Juve are currently in talks to sign midfielder Leandro Paredes from Paris Saint-Germain and the possible absence of Pogba makes striking a deal more pressing.
It is understood manager Massimiliano Allegri wants to shift midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Arthur to make room for Paredes.
The club are in talks with the former about ending his contract early as they look to shift his huge £400,000 a week wages.
