Strikes from Malik Tillman and Yankuba Minteh saw the two teams cancel each other out in the first half before Santiago Gimenez propelled the champions into the lead, but a fine Guus Til leveller kept Peter Bosz's men 10 points clear at the top of the standings and on course for an Invincibles campaign.
Having dropped a mere four points in their opening 23 Eredivisie matches of the season, PSV unsurprisingly dominated the opening period and had a few attempts blocked before drawing first blood in the fourth minute.
Tillman found a gap in between two black shirts and exploited it to the full, advancing into the penalty area and finding the bottom corner past the outstretched leg of Timon Wellenreuther.
The visitors responded well to that early setback and called Walter Benitez into action in the 19th minute, as Wellenreuther's long ball found its way through to Gimenez, but he was thwarted by the PSV number one.
However, Arne Slot's crop capitalised on a defensive calamity from PSV in the 22nd minute, as Minteh robbed Olivier Boscagli of the ball just outside the box, left Benitez on his backside and rolled the equaliser into the empty net.
Feyenoord were living dangerously in the second quarter of the match, though, as Thomas Beelen nodded a Sergino Dest cross against the frame of his own goal on the half-hour mark, two minutes before Wellenreuther did brilliantly to tip Tillman's drive onto the post.
The reigning champions turned the screw at the start of the second half, where PSV stopper Benitez had to make two stops in quick succession from Lutsharel Geertruida and Beelen in the 53rd minute, but the Argentine was powerless to prevent Gimenez prodding Feyenoord ahead in the 61st minute.
The ball broke for Geertruida in the box after a sustained period of build-up play from Feyenoord, and the Dutch defender charged to the byline before squaring a brilliant ball across the six-yard box for Gimenez, who was completely unmarked at the back post and could not miss.
However, the visitors were only in the ascendancy for 10 minutes at the Philips Stadion, as with his back to goal, Luuk de Jong hooked a clever pass into the path of substitute Til, who picked out the far side of the net with a sublime side-footed volley.
PSV now gear up for Friday's trip to Go Ahead Eagles before the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Borussia Dortmund on March 13, while Feyenoord - the first team to take points off of the Rood-witten at the Philips Stadion in the 2023-24 Eredivisie - are at home to Heracles in seven days' time.
