As a result, the 30-year-old received praise from Carlo Ancelotti after the game, saying: "He has taken advantage of others' injuries.

Those comments were shared by Ozil on social media, with the former Madrid star piling praise on the centre-back.
Taking to X, Ozil said: "Prime Toni Rudiger is just the world's best defender at the moment.
"Incredible season for my former club Real Madrid.
"You can also ask [Erling] Haaland or [Victor] Osimhen how good he is!
