A much changed team lost 1-0 in their play-off tie against Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal.
Spurs handed debuts to Pierluigi Gollini, Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil while teenagers Dane Scarlett and Nile John received their first starts as Nuno made 11 changes to the side that beat Man City on Sunday.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side failed to register a shot on target and now have it all to do in the second leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Former Spurs midfielder O'Hara was less than complimentary about the competition, which is in its inaugural season.
He told talkSPORT: "I'm ready for some banter coming my way because I've been giving it to Arsenal fans over the last couple of days calling them Banter FC, then we go and get beaten by a chocolate bar.
"Ferrer Rocher 1, Spurs 0. Embarrassing, but to be honest I couldn't care less. It's a Dog and Duck Cup.
"Look at the teams in it. Santa Claus are beating Partizan Belgrade 1-0."
Harry Kane was one of those who did not travel with the squad for the game as he continues to try and force a move away from the north London club.
Reports claim Kane believes he has a gentleman's agreement that will allow him to leave as the club failed to win a trophy or qualify for the Champions League.
Now, if he is not sold this summer, he faces the possibility of having to play in the Europa Conference League.
talkSPORT host Jason Cundy said: "Harry Kane is sitting at home watching that tripe and thinking 'I might have to play in that competition'.
"He's watching you play a perfume rolled up in a chocolate bar and is thinking 'I might actually have to put a Spurs shirt on to represent that club in this competition'.
"You would want to leave wouldn't you? I reckon Dele Alli wants to leave as well."
