The 2021/22 season will not be one which lives long in the memory of Neymar, with Paris Saint-Germain failing in the Champions League, yet the Brazilian couldn't keep his temper in check during an international match against Chile on Thursday.
Neymar was selected by Tite to play in a centre-forward role, and he actually found the back of the net from the penalty spot, but he would react to the physical challenges put on him by Chilean defenders.
Gabriel Suazo was challenging the former Barcelona star for the ball in midfield, and appeared to hit the Brazilian's knee, however this caused Neymar to lose his temper and appear to aim a kick at Suazo's head.
This wasn't the first instance in the match either, with Neymar having been shown a yellow card earlier for a push on Paulo Diaz, after the Chilean defender had fouled him.
Neymar was fortunate not to be shown a second yellow card for his kick aimed at Suazo.
