Famalicao vs. Chaves (Monday, 7.00pm)
Having missed out on a place in the Taca de Portugal final in heartbreaking circumstances, Famalicao return to Primeira Liga action against fellow European outsiders Chaves at the Estadio Municipal de Famalicao on Monday.
The hosts fell to a 5-3 aggregate loss to Porto after extra time in the second leg of their cup-semi final on Thursday, while Chaves most recently gleaned a 1-0 win over Casa Pia.
We say: Famalicao 1-1 Chaves
Chaves will undeniably boast the fresher set of legs heading into Monday's game, but there is hardly anything to separate the two sides in the standings, and we expect that to be reflected in the scoreline.
The visitors are a force to be reckoned with at the back, but their attacking performances often leave something to be desired, and a rejigged Famalicao side who have few problems making the net ripple can strike back to force a share of the spoils.
Arouca vs. Porto (Monday, 9.15pm)
On the back of an energy-sapping Taca de Portugal semi-final success, Porto quickly turn their attention back to the Primeira Liga title fight, travelling to Arouca on Monday night.
Sergio Conceicao's men have a four-point deficit to make up to leaders Benfica as things stand, while their opponents' eight-game unbeaten run was brought to an end last time out.
We say: Arouca 0-2 Porto
Coming up against an Arouca defence that have proven incredibly difficult to break down is the last thing that the doctor ordered for a tired Porto side, but the hosts have lost some of their defensive nous with skipper Basso absent.
While it may ultimately not be enough to see them retain their crown, a rejigged Porto side should still run out comfortable winners on Monday, delaying Benfica's expected coronation that little bit longer.
