Mino Raiola was looking to add Donny van de Beek to his stable of players recently as the Dutchman swapped agents, according to reports.
The Manchester United outcast faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford with opportunities still at a premium.
Van de Beek moved to the Premier League giants last summer from Ajax for a hefty £40m.
Despite that fee Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been reluctant to use the versatile forward and a move away could be on the cards.
The 24-year-old has left his long-term agent Guido Albers and is now managed by Ali Dursun, who also looks after Frenkie De Jong.
The former Ajax midfielder secured a lucrative switch to Barcelona back in 2019 after helping Ajax reach the last four of the Champions League.

De Telegraaf claim that Raiola was looking to take charge of Van de Beek's future however.
The Italian super agent already has United's Paul Pogba on his books - and has made noises about the Frenchman leaving Manchester on several occasions.
Raiola has continued to manufacture major moves for his clients with Gianluigi Donnarumma swapping AC Milan for PSG in the summer.
Matthijs de Ligt, who is another of Van de Beek's former Ajax teammates, is also managed by the Italian
Following an impressive 2019 he followed De Jong out of Amsterdam and moved to Juventus, although his move has not been the roaring success many expected and another switch could be on the cards.
Van de Beek has failed to make a league start for United with a five minute cameo off the bench his only opportunity this season.
His continued lack of involvement has been an issue internally, with several players claiming he is deserving of more minutes having impressed in training.
Everton expressed an interest in the summer before Solskjaer and United poured water on the deal.

Albers, Van de Beek's previous agent, claimed that positive talks were held and the Dutchman was set to get more minutes.
He told Ziggo Sport previously: "On Monday night [before deadline day] we received a call from Solskjær and the club who told us that a transfer was out of question and that he had to report himself to training the next morning.
"The perspective now is that we stated that Donny is not a Carabao Cup player, or FA Cup player, or to play only in European games. Donny went to England to play in the Premier League.
"The way the conversation went this time [with Solskjær] compared to last summer... things are much more clear now. I have full expectations that Donny will get his chance now."
