The French champions haved sacked former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino after 18 months and appointed ex-Lille and Nice manager Christophe Galtier.
Pochettino delivered the Ligue 1 title in convincing fashion but paid the price for a disappionting last-16 exit to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
With arguably the most star-studded squad in world football - featuring Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe up front - expectations are high in Paris.
Champions League glory has become the bare minimum at the Parc des Princes - and yet Carlo Ancelotti, Laurent Blanc, Unai Emery, Thomas Tuchel and now Pochettino have all failed to deliver the elusive trophy.
Aston Villa legend Agbonlahor insists the PSG hotseat is a poisoned chalice and player power makes the job almost impossible.
He told talkSPORT: "That's a job no-one wants. The amount of egos there!
"It didn't work for Tuchel and he's a better manager than Tuchel.
"I feel for Galtier, he doesn't know what he's got himself in for.
"Messi, Neymar and Mbappe run that club. They run the changing rooms, they are the managers.
"You can't take them off because they'll throw a strop on the side of the pitch.
"Look at Tuchel. He's left there, gone to Chelsea, nobody is bigger than Tuchel, and he wins the Champions League."
Agbonlahor added: "How do you go into the PSG dressing room and stamp your authority? You've got superstars in there.
"Mbappe, the most exciting player in the world, he'll be the best in the world soon.
"Messi, probably the greatest player to play the game.
"Neymar, who loves a strop. He's not wanted by PSG but he ended up signing a five-year contract?
"The only manager I can see coping at that club is Pep Guardiola. He's already managed Messi and Neymar, Mbappe would respect him.
"Managers like Pochettino and Galtier aren't going to get the respect."
