T he Europa League's round of 32 is full of potential traps for Real Sociedad and Granada, who are likely to face a tough draw on Monday after progressing through their respective groups in second place.
Manchester United are probably the biggest threat of the seeded teams, dropping down from the Champions League. Ajax, Club Brugge and Shakhtar Donetsk are others coming into the competition after falling out of the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho's Tottenham are another threat, and the London side are currently leading the Premier League table. Arsenal won't be an easy opponent ether, nor will Serie A leaders AC Milan.
Roma have a bit of a Spanish flavour with Borja Mayoral, Pedro, Pau Lopez, Gonzalo Villar and Carles Perez in their ranks.
Other teams to avoid are Napoli - who La Real cannot meet - Leicester and Bayer Leverkusen.
Some kinder draws would be Steven Gerrard's Rangers, PSV Eindhoven, Dinamo Zagreb - though they are yet to concede a goal in the competition this season - and Hoffenheim.
Fewer threats
Villarreal should have an easier time. Red Bull Salzburg, who put Atletico Madrid on the ropes, would be a team to avoid, while Krasnodar, Dynamo Kiev and Olympiacos are a little weaker.
Royal Antwerp, Young Boys, Molde, Sparta Prague, Benfica, Braga, Lille, Red Star, Wolfsberger and Maccabi Tel Aviv are other possibilities.
