Cristiano Ronaldo's sensational homecoming was officially announced by Manchester United on Deadline Day as the Portuguese star left Juventus to move back to Old Trafford.
Ronaldo was signed by the Red Devils back in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon and established himself on the world stage before moving to Real Madrid in 2009.
The five-time Ballon D'or winner was meant to touch down in Manchester after his international duty with Portugal, but a wild topless celebration after he became the mens all-time top international goalscorer resulted in a yellow card, which means that Ronaldo is suspended for their next qualifier.
Due to this, Ronaldo has touched down in Manchester earlier than expected, and his family received a welcome gift upon their arrival.

Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez was posting updates of the family journey on her Instagram, as they arrived in Manchester alongside the couples four children.
The couple have been together since 2016, so Rodriguez was with Ronaldo during the end of his time with Los Blancos, and also for the entirety of his venture with Juventus, and seemed extremely excited about their move to England.
Although Ronaldo has always called United his home, the experience will be a new one for Rodriguez as the couple got together seven years after the Portuguese star first left Old Trafford, but with extra time to settle in due to early release from international duty, it should be a smooth transition.
The chocolate gift from Manchester United was also a nice tough, bringing a whole new meaning to home sweet home for Ronaldo and his family.

Although the transfer has been met with overwhelming excitement and expectation, question marks have been raised over the type of Ronaldo that United are receiving, as the forward is now 36-years-old.
However, his recent performance for Portugal sent a warning to the rest of the Premier League, as his brace fired his side to a 2-1 victory over the Republic of Ireland, as he became the mens all-time top international goalscorer [111].
Ronaldo will be able to make his return on September 11 as United host Newcastle United at Old Trafford, and the Portuguese star will be fielding his iconic no.7 once more.
Edinson Cavani was the original bearer of the no.7, but the striker sportingly offered to switch to the no.21 shirt that was recently made vacant due to the departure of Daniel James to Leeds United.
Cavani wears the no.21 for Uruguay, so the switch was a relatively comfortable one, meaning that Ronaldo will entertain his famous number once more.
Ronaldo will also be linking up with international teammate Bruno Fernandes, as the Portuguese pairing look to take the league by storm.
