Sevilla are reportedly considering an ambitious move for Manchester United star Edinson Cavani in January.
The Uruguayan striker has made just two Premier League starts this season following Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford on deadline day.
According to Fichajes, Sevilla may try to sign Cavani in the upcoming transfer window after losing Youssef En-Nesyri to injury.
Rumours suggest the former Paris Saint-Germain ace has been "practically ostracised" at Old Trafford since Ronaldo's arrival.
It's believed Sevilla are hoping to tempt Cavani to take a pay cut and become their main goal threat as they push for a first La Liga title since 1957.

The Spanish side are currently third in the table, one point behind leaders Real Sociedad with a game in hand.
Sevilla are also reportedly looking at Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz and Arsenal ace Alexandre Lacazette to solve their attacking dilemma.
Cavani recently expressed his desire to stay at Old Trafford and form a partnership with Ronaldo. He told reporters it is a "sincere pleasure" to work with the Portuguese.
The ex-Napoli star added: "Hopefully we can continue to share moments on the pitch and give victories to the fans of our team, Manchester United."
But Man Utd could try to use Cavani as a bargaining chip to bring highly-rated Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, 22, to the Premier League.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in March, Kounde's team-mate Diego Carlos said: "He has quality and he can play for great European clubs.
"He is a young player who can still improve over time, he has got great qualities, he is very strong and I am sure he can play for a big club as a great defender."
Man Utd have been linked with the France international on a number of occasions in recent months and could make a move to solve their defensive woes.
The Red Devils have conceded 17 goals in the Premier League this season, the same amount as relegation threatened Burnley.
Kounde has a £68million release clause and Chelsea are also reportedly monitoring his progress, yet Man Utd could jump to the front of the queue if they allow Cavani to join Sevilla.
Former captain Roy Keane said he "gives up" on the team's woeful defending during their 2-0 home to defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
Who is Manchester United's Player of the Season so far? Have your say!
Keane told Sky Sports: "Just on half time, a huge goal against City dominating possession but this defending from Shaw and De Gea, there's not enough pressure.
"You have to show intensity and put pressure on. You're on the ropes to stay in the game. You're like a boxer - stay in the game!
"I've been crossing these fellas for years - I give up. I give up on these players. These are international players, I give up. I can't understand the defending."
