Manchester United have announced the permanent departure of Scott McTominay to Italian outfit Napoli.
The 27-year-old made his debut for the Old Trafford club at first-team level in 2017, when Jose Mourinho was still in charge at the Theatre of Dreams.
Since then, McTominay has gone on to become a stalwart of a difficult era on the red side of Manchester, turning out on 255 occasions for the Red Devils.
During his seven-year stint in the senior setup, the Scotland international managed a Europa League triumph in 2017, alongside FA Cup and EFL Cup successes under the reign of Erik ten Hag.
McTominay enjoyed his most productive season for Man United last time out in terms of goal contributions, finding the net on 10 occasions and providing three assists across the 2023-24 campaign.
