The effect of a good atmosphere in arenas cannot be understated, but which Premier League grounds generate the best atmosphere?
Our friends over at Betfair commissioned a survey from YouGov of Premier League football fans' thoughts on a range of topics.
They have compiled results from 1,003 supporters so the results should be an accurate representation of the views.
Liverpool supporters, unsurprisingly, have been named as the fans who create the best atmosphere.
The club's historic Anfield stadium is famous for it's deafening atmosphere - particular on big European nights - and the lack of them is perhaps one reason for their poor home form last season.
Jurgen Klopp's men incredibly lost six matches at Anfield on the bounce in the Premier League last term, something which they had never done before in their history and there's no doubting empty stands played a part in that.
Manchester United fans are second on the list, and that's fairly understandable as they boast the biggest capacity ground in the division in Old Trafford, which can hold 76,000, of their finest supporters.

Both clubs are huge in stature and have massively passionate supporters, as Magpies owner Mike Ashley knows all too well.
The atmosphere Chelsea fans create is enough for sixth on the list, while Tottenham and Arsenal supporters are in mid-table.
At the bottom of the pile, Watford supporters take the crown as the fans who generate the least amount of atmosphere.
Vicarage Road will need to be bustling this season if the Hornets stand any chance of retaining their Premier Legaue status.
Joining them in the bottom three are Burnley fans (19th) and Southampton supporters (18th).
Both clubs are at risk of relegation too due to their lack of action in the transfer market, so their fans will have to play their part a tad more this term.
