That's right... music legend, and former Watford chairman, Elton John!

City are still standing in their bid for the treble as they downed rivals Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley.

That made it two out of three, with the Premier League already in the bag, and Inter Milan in their way in Saturday's Champions League final.

Ilkay Gundogan was their rocket man against United as his double was enough to secure the FA Cup.

There were celebratory scenes in the City dressing as the players knocked back a few beers, but the party did not appear to go into the early hours.

The squad flew back to Manchester that same evening and certainly felt the love with the presence of an unsuspecting celebrity.

Elton John had just finished a three-day stint at the AO Arena in Manchester, with City boss Pep Guardiola spotted in the crowd for one of the gigs.

Both the City players and staff then serenaded the pop icon after their bizarre meet up.

After the singing was done, he told the squad: "One more next week!"
