The talkSPORT Breakfast host had spent the previous few days enjoying the sun and music at Glastonbury and was absent from Monday's show, with Piers Morgan joking she 'pulled an Alan Brazil.'
"The last thing I see is Laura Woods is on the lash at Glastonbury and the next thing I discover, no offence to [stand-in hosts Sam Matterface and Dean Saunders], but I was looking forward to a nice little chat with Laura this morning and discover she is not there."
But instead, Woodsy was stuck in traffic trying to get away from Worthy Farm having enjoyed seeing Elton John live on Sunday night among other acts.
And she also thanked the group of friends she was with, especially for the makeshift sewing job needed on a pair of her shorts on the weekend.
Despite her no show, fans still showed her that she was missed.
