Kaka visits Man Utd training ground after being pictured with Cristiano Ronaldo

There was a surprise visitor at Manchester United's Carrington training ground as Kaka was present, a day after he watched the Red Devils' 3-1 win over Arsenal.

The Brazilian great was at the game against the Gunners with his former international teammate and Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar. The pair were also together at United's training facility on Monday, where they are taking part in courses as part of UEFA's Masters for International Players qualification.

Kaka shared a post from Carrington on social media as he headed to the United training ground as part of a busy few days. The pair were accompanied by Stephane Ehrhart, UEFA's career transitions expert and an instructor on the course, which is designed to give former international players the professional skills to move into a second career within football once their playing days are over. UEFA's MIP course involves seven week-long sessions held in major European cities as well as one final session held outside of Europe.

Each session examines a different aspect of the administration and governance of a football organisation and candidates not already working with a sports body can be requested to fulfil a three-month work placement role. Kaka and Cesar were both selected to be a part of that course and the duo made the most of it by deciding to go to Old Trafford on Sunday.

Antony's first United goal and a Marcus Rashford brace helped Erik ten Hag's side to their fourth successive Premier League win - a victory that lifts them up to fifth in the table. It was a fine performance from United, who condemned Arsenal to their first defeat in the meantime.

Kaka and former teammate Cesar were in the tunnel after the game and the former midfielder played with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and posed for a photograph in the tunnel with his former teammate. He also caught up with his fellow Brazilians, speaking to Antony, Fred and Casemiro from the United side, as well as Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus and Marquinhos of Arsenal.

The game was a fast-tempo one with very high quality and Ten Hag has admitted it had pretty much everything - including flair - something Kaka would have no doubt been impressed with. He also credited Arsenal for their performance and the way they played.

Ten Hag said: "I must say Arsenal played well but we played well. But I never had the feeling they will break us in their possession.

"There was a lot of movement and creativity but we had a good defending line and we defend with all 11. We can have better pressing formation, we can keep them further from our goal and we can control the game.

"A little bit more composure, a little bit more switch of play but we are not that long in the process."
