Jordan Pickford vs Logan Paul? England man jokes he'll put YouTuber to sleep

In a behind-the-scenes training video, the Everton goalkeeper showed off his boxing skills, prompting jokes about a potential fight with YouTuber Logan Paul.

The concept really was laughable for Pickford, who backed himself to put Paul to sleep if they ever met in the ring - which they won't, just in case that needed clarifying.

"Logan Paul, yeah?" Pickford is asked by the camera man.

"No!" Pickford responds. "I'll sleep the boy!"

At 6ft 1ins, the England goalkeeper certainly represents a closer physical match-up for the YouTuber, who recently went the distance with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather during an exhibition bout.

Towering over Mayweather, Paul was able to escape with his pride in tact - but that might all change if he ever met Pickford.

And with the Three Lions goalkeeper potentially heading to the fight capital of the world next month, we think that could be arranged.

When asked what he'll do if England win Euro 2020, Pickford told talkSPORT: "Wouldn't you like to know?

"Three weeks in Vegas with Jack [Grealish]… it would be a great experience and I'd be definitely getting the rave on for a good spell!"
