The midfielder arrived in a £30million deal from Southampton earlier this week and was chucked straight in for the Premier League clash with Chelsea.
Renowned as a set piece specialist, it was only fitting that Ward-Prowse's first assist would come from a dead-ball situation.
Standing over a corner on the right-hand side, the 28-year-old curled a wonderful ball into the box and found the head of Nayef Aguerd at the back post who headed West Ham in front.

He then added another in the second half as he teed up Michail Antonio from open play to make it 2-1 to the Hammers.
