Independiente offer fans chance to become the announcer for a day

Argentine club Independiente have become the latest football team to offer fans the unique chance to become the stadium announcer for a day via the innovative Socios.com Fan Tokens platform.

We have recently seen many sports organisations getting involved with Fan Tokens to increase supporter engagement and offer new and interesting types of interaction with their chosen team or competition.

Now, owners of the Independiente fan token can record an audio note reading out the team's starting eleven and upload it to the Socios.com platform for the chance to win a special prize. One of the voices will be selected by Socios and the club, giving all the Argentinean club's fan token owners the chance to vote in a poll on who deserves to be the stadium announcer for a one-off occasion. The winner will also receive a full VIP match experience on their big day.

This initiative has already been carried out by Italian club Milan and Colombian club Millonarios in recent weeks and is becoming one of the star ideas of this fan token platform.
