Kelechi Iheanacho has backed striker Patson Daka to score more goals for Leicester City this season.
The 23-year-old Zambia international grabbed the headlines on Thursday after he scored four goals to help the Foxes beat Spartak Moscow 4-3 in their Group C Europa League fixture at Otkrytie Bank Arena.
The four goals against Spartak came four days after the Chipolopolo star, who signed for Leicester from Red Bull Salzburg, had also scored his maiden goal in the Premier League as they beat Manchester United 4-2 at King Power Stadium.
His recent display has caught the eye of his strike partner and Nigeria international Iheanacho, who feels the Zambian forward will continue his streak in front of the goal throughout the rest of the campaign.
"Of course, we've got to talk about him! He was magnificent. It was a tough one first half, but we got a goal from Patson before the break and that gave us momentum to go in the second half," Iheanacho said as quoted by the club's official website.
"We came out in the second 45 and said we'd give them a fight. We got the goals and congratulations to Patson, scoring four in a European competition is outstanding so I'm happy for him.
"Hopefully, he [Daka] will score more, and we will achieve a lot this season.
"The dressing room is bubbling, it's nice at the moment. Everyone is happy now. We're enjoying this moment and looking forward to the next games."
On coming up against promoted side Brentford in a league match on Sunday, the Super Eagle said: "I've watched them a couple of times now and they've been doing really well.
"But it's nothing new to us. Of course, we know how they are, we've played them before. But I think they are a different side now, they know this is the Premier League.
"It's going to be a tough game for us. We need to take them seriously; we just need to play our game and we need to be ready for the fight. I think that we need to be fast, play quick and shift the ball from side to side.
"We're really working hard. The last game we did really well and then we came back in the second half and we're looking forward to the next game now at Brentford on Sunday.
"Hopefully it will be a good game. They are a good side but hopefully, we'll keep doing what we're doing. We've started well now. Hopefully, we will pick up from there and we will keep winning games now, do very well and give the fans something."
