Despite being reduced to 10 men after Miha Blazic was shown red, Slovenia managed to hold on and salvage a 0-0 draw against Norway on Thursday.
The result means Erling Haaland's side remain atop the Group B4 standings in the Nations League, though they'll likely be rueing two dropped points given that Slovenia have failed to win any of their three matches.
The two sides headed into half time level at 0-0 and it wasn't until the 63rd minute that things really came to life. It was then that Blazic was sent off after being unable to handle the pace and power of Haaland, forcing Slovenia to defend in what numbers they had left for the final 30 minutes.
Despite attempts by Haaland and Joshua King, Jan Oblak's side did just that as they held on to claim a surprise point despite the difficult circumstances.
Norway remain atop the group thanks to their haul of seven points from three matches, though Serbia now find themselves just one point back thanks to their 1-0 win over Sweden in the other group match.
