Ghana miss another World Cup penalty against Uruguay and Suarez haunts them again

Ghana's penalty woes at the World Cup against Uruguay have come back to bite them.

In 2010, they missed from the spot when Luis Suarez handled the ball and in Qatar they were given a chance at revenge but missed.

After a lengthy VAR check, with goalkeeper Sergio Rochet being penalised for bringing down Mohammed Kudus inside the area, Andre Ayew was denied by Rochet.

Such a miss proved to be even more agonising for Ghana as Uruguay scored a quick-fire double soon after thanks to a brace from Giorgian de Arrascaeta.

And Suarez was at the heart of them, setting up his teammate, while he also found time for a cheeky nutmeg.

As the first half came, everyone blew a sigh of relief after a chaotic 45 minutes.
