Bruno Fernandes has opened up on what Manchester United 's stars think of the job Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is doing.
The Red Devils secured just their second win in five games on Wednesday as they came from behind to beat Atalanta 3-2 in the Champions League.
Fernandes played his part in both of United's first two goals before Cristiano Ronaldo headed home in the 81st minute to send Solskjaer and co top of Group F.
Post-match, Ronaldo's Portugal team-mate spoke to TNT Sports and backed his manager amid increasing scrutiny at Old Trafford.
"Of course, obviously, he is our coach. We follow him every day. We show that. We follow his ideas and we will continue to do so," Fernandes stated.
Fernandes says Man Utd have done "good things" under Solskjaer
"We believe in our coach and our staff... we need to do what the coach tells us because our coach is the maximum exponent of what we must respect.
"He has been here for three years and we've done good things. It's true that we haven't won anything up to now, but the team has shown it has grown a lot."
But the 27-year-old admitted that there is much work left to be done if the Red Devils are to return to the top.
"We have a lot to improve on and the coach also knows there has to be some improvement at their end but that is part of football. Every day we are learning something new.
"But football is the present and it's the now."
Fernandes endured a poor first half against Atalanta but his drive epitomised United's spirit, producing a fine display in the second half as they came away with all three points, having been beaten 4-2 by Leicester City on Saturday.
"It was the team's will, the will to win, to work as a team, to work all for each other that brings these results.
"We have to continue like this. Technically and tactically, it may not have been our best game.
"We made mistakes and we have to improve.

"Just because we've won all is not right but by the same token, just because we lost the other day, all was not bad.
"We have to bring out the good things we did against Atalanta and grow from there.
"We have to believe in ourselves, try and not give up and more than anything, know that we are here for each other."
Captain Harry Maguire echoed Fernandes' sentiment as he told BT Sport of Atalanta's two early goals: "Of course that's not good enough, that's not good enough for this club.
"We know we're working hard, we're working hard on a formula to be a lot more solid."
