The arrest of Dani Alves on allegations of rape has caused an earthquake at many levels, from soccer to politics, and has generated a myriad of reactions. His family, naturally, is also affected.
Alves' ex-wife and mother of his children, Dana Dinorah, has confessed that it is not being an easy situation for anyone around the player and has defended her ex-partner.
"I have not had access to him. I know he's sad, but he's fine and I'll do whatever it takes to help him," Dinorah told Telecinco. "It's a shock and for my children, who are teenagers and are having a very hard time.
"His family is overwhelmed because they want to see him and they can't access him. His lawyer tells me she is working on the case."
In addition, his ex-wife has shown herself convinced of the innocence of the footballer, whose contract has been terminated by Mexican club Pumas.
"Dani would never, ever, ever do this. I'm telling you because I've known him for 22 years and I've been married to him for 10. I think it's a nightmare and it can't be happening," she told the program 'Fiesta'.
For its part, the network also wanted to know the opinion of one of Dani Alves' brothers, Junior, and he has not hidden, through a phone call, that he is clearly having a bad time.
"I can't take it anymore. They are playing a trap with him. They are going over the top and it is forbidden to visit him," Junior said.
Junior has insisted that the support of the whole family to the footballer is absolute and does not present any fissure.
"We will give our lives if necessary for Dani Alves to get out of this hell".
Everyone around him, including his current partner, model and businesswoman Joan Sanz, has supported the player since his arrest for alleged rape.
