Among those to come out and defend Dani Alves is Ney Alves, brother of the footballer, who has spoken about the arrest and imprisonment without bail of his brother.
The former Barcelona player, 39, is accused of an alleged sexual assault on a 23-year-old woman on the night of December 30 at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.
"My brother fell into a trap," Ney Alves explained to journalist Alex Alvarez on the program 'Espejo Publico' hosted by Susanna Griso.
"My family is not going to give up.
"My brother has an unblemished career all over the world and this mess he's gotten himself into is sinking his career."
"Demonic conspiracy"
"We will definitely do everything possible to get my brother out of this demonic conspiracy that he got himself into," warned the brother of the former Sevilla and Barcelona player, who is still being held in Brians 2 prison.
"We are suffering a lot with all this, we are in a game of chess.
"I see dubious things that are not being done well.
"My parents and I want to travel to Spain."
Father unable to travel
Dani Alves' father is in hospital awaiting an emergency operation, so he has to postpone his trip to Barcelona.
At the end of the connection Susanna Griso pointed out on 'Espejo Publico' the main messages shared by Ney Alves on Antena 3 about the 'Alves Case'.
"Dani Alves fell into a trap, he will not give up, he has an unblemished career and is the victim of a demonic conspiracy," she said.
Just three days ago Ney Alves, Dani Alves' brother, acknowledged from Brazil on the Telecinco program 'Fiesta' presented by Emma Garcia that his family feel powerless.
"I can't take it anymore," another of Dani's brothers, Junior, said only a few days ago.
"They passed the limits, it is forbidden to visit him.
"I don't know what else to do. We will give our lives if necessary to get him out of this hell."
What sentence could Dani Alves face in the case of being found guilty?
Dani Alves faces an alleged crime of sexual assault.
