Chris Sutton claims he and Neil Lennon have been denied access to the Ibrox stadium where the pair were set to be on punditry duty for the Old Firm's Europa League clashes.
The Light Blues have informed BT that the former Celtic manager and striker will not be allowed into Ibrox to cover the Hoops' clash against Real Betis, followed by Rangers' home fixture with Lyon.
BT will now broadcast the game from their London studio with a different punditry team.
Sutton claims Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson has deemed them a "security risk" as he hit out at their 'Everyone Anyone' diversity campaign.

He tweeted: "I'm not allowed to work on the Celtic game tonight from a studio at Ibrox along with Neil Lennon as Stewart Robertson the Rangers CEO says we are a security risk. Good to see Rangers' groundbreaking diversity and inclusion campaign 'Everyone Anyone' is working well…"
Celtic are due to face the La Liga side first with a 5.45pm kick-off, with Rangers vs Lyon immediately following it at 8pm as both games are to be shown on BT Sport 3.
BT Sport released a statement saying: "We had hoped that Darrell Currie and the team would be able to present the coverage of both the Celtic and Rangers UEFA Europa League games live from Ibrox this evening, as we have done in the past.
"Rangers have since raised security concerns and so we have had to change our plans."

The Parkhead side will get their Europa League campaign underway against Real Betis, but have a depleted squad as the likes of Callum McGregor, James Forrest and Kyogo Furuhashi are all out injured.
Rangers have tasted success in this competition the previous two years, reaching the knockout stages on both occasions, but face a tough opening game against Lyon.
Mirror Football has contacted Rangers for comment and is awaiting a response.
