Thomas Tuchel's side sit at the top of the Premier League with six wins from their opening eight matches, giving them a tally of 19 points.
They have the potential to put on their pressure on their title rivals by getting a win in Saturday's early game.
Daniel Farke's side have really struggled since securing promotion to the top flight and Norwich will be hoping to have a strong squad available as they look to pull off a potential upset.
Chelsea team news
Tuchel is set to be without Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.
The Chelsea forwards have both been ruled out of the Blues' next two matches, against Norwich and then Southampton in the Carabao Cup next week.
Lukaku suffered an ankle injury during the Champions League clash with Malmo, while Werner pulled up with a hamstring problem.
Speaking to the press, Tuchel said: "We have no big news for Romelu and Timo.
"They are out for tomorrow, they will be out for the Southampton game. I don't think it makes any sense that we go into speculations about how long this is going to be.
"If we had done this with Christian Pulisic you would think I am a liar.
"The fact is you never know, things can be shorter than expected and longer than expected.
"The one thing I can tell you for sure is that both are in treatment and both are feeling positive and not to worried. Out for the next two games for sure."
Norwich City team news
Farke will be without Billy Gilmour for the clash with Chelsea.
The young midfielder is on loan from the Blues and is therefore ineligible to take on Tuchel's side on Saturday afternoon.
Christoph Zimmermann and Todd Cantwell are both set to miss out on the clash, with Farke explaining: "Christoph Zimmermann is out and sadly I can confirm that he needs another ankle surgery
"He will have the surgery next Monday and we expect him to be out of team training for the next six weeks.
"It depends a bit on the surgery, it could be a few weeks more it could perhaps be a few days less. It is sad news for Christoph and sad news for us, but we hope to have him back in team training soon."
Farke added: "Todd has missed a lot of training sessions, so he is not a topic for tomorrow. There is a process until he is ready for the battles on a Premier League level."
