The Premier League giants have made headlines during the past two transfer windows with the club's new owners spending in excess of £600m.
Despite the influx of new talent, the Blues are yet to impress under Graham Potter on a consistent basis, the current belief being that the Englishman will be given time to work with a squad in transition.
Since last summer, the likes of Raheem Sterling, Noni Madueke and Mykhaylo Mudryk have all been signed by the West Londoners, the latter for a fee in the region of £88m.
Nevertheless, with each of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech being heavily linked with a departure later in 2023, Chelsea may look to sign at least one alternative.
According to journalist Raffaele Auriemma, Chelsea are admirers of Lozano and could make a formal approach for the player in the future.
Speaking to Radio Crc, Auriemma suggests that Napoli may be open to a deal if it helps them sign two of their own targets.
Auriemma said: "The Napoli players think twice before leaving. Right now, it's not easy to leave the blue team.
"Almost certainly, those who can leave the Neapolitan club are Hirving Lozano and Piotr Zielinski. Chelsea likes the Mexican footballer, given that the Blues coach likes this type of winger."
"In this case, the Neapolitan club can collect 50 million and pay it cash into Sassuolo's coffers to take [Armand] Lauriente and [Davide] Frattesi."
Lozano is currently in his fourth season at the Serie A giants, contributing a total of 30 goals and 17 assists from 144 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Mexico international has under 16 months remaining on his contract, creating a scenario where offers may be considered ahead of 2023-24.
Despite Napoli's success this campaign, Lozano has chipped in with just three goals and three assists in Italy's top flight.
