Champions League draw live as Premier League clubs learn group-stage opponents

The Champions League draw is upon us, with four Premier League clubs eagerly waiting to discover who they will face in the group stage.

Chelsea beat Manchester City in last season's final to be crowned European champions for the second time in their history, and both clubs have been placed in Pot 1.

Manchester United and Liverpool are in Pot 2 alongside many of the continent's heavyweights, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

The English teams cannot be drawn against one another at this stage, but there are sure to be some tricky groups drawn, with the likes of Ajax, RB Leipzig, Atalanta and AC Milan featuring in Pots 3 and 4.
