A few supporters ran onto the Emirates pitch at full-time with one getting very close to the Arsenal manager as the 2-0 Premier League win against West Ham was celebrated.
In typical fashion, whenever a fan runs on to the pitch, stewards give chase and one excited invader nearly collided with the Gunners boss.
Thankfully nobody was harmed and incident provided some amusement to the Arsenal fans, who remained in their seats in the stands - opting against receiving an inevitable ban from watching their side.
In terms of the result, it was a vital win for Arteta's side that saw them leapfrog their opponents into the Premier League's top four.
Goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe earned the Gunners all three points and in doing so continued their excellent home record.
Alongside league leaders Man City who recently hammered Leeds United 7-0, Arsenal have taken 22 points in north London this season.
It highlights their home comforts but also shows their alarming away form as the Gunners have collated 29 points so far this season.
Whilst Arteta will want and need to improve on their away form, he will have been thrilled with his side's performance especially after the week he has had.
"To win a game at home it's really important because it sets the tone of the team against a good side who it's difficult to dominate the way we've done today."
