On Wednesday pictures were shared on social media showing FOUR Gunners stars ignoring social distancing rules.
As the country remains on lockdown because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, David Luiz, Granit Xhaka, Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette were spotted flouting rules to remain at home.
Nicolas Pepe appeared to be playing football with a group of young people, while David Luiz and Granit Xhaka had a kickabout between themselves.
Alexandre Lacazette was also spotted flouting the guidelines as he spoke to a valeter who was cleaning his car on his driveway.
These pictures were made all the worse by the fact they came after two separate cases where players from rival club Tottenham were criticised for similar offences.
At the start of the month, Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez, Ryan Sessegnon and even manager Jose Mourinho were all warned their responsibilities after they were spotted training together on Hadley Common in north London.
And Spurs were forced to warn their players again this week after Serge Aurier uploaded videos to Instagram of himself and teammate Moussa Sissoko training together in a local park.
Reacting to the footballers' breaches of government guidelines on Wednesday's Sports Bar, talkSPORT host Cundy said: "This is inexcusable!
"We're living in unprecedented times and there are no excuses for this.
"They know. They've seen Spurs players do this a few weeks ago, they've seen Spurs players doing it yesterday and there are no excuses here.
"I like to try and defend footballers, because I think they sometimes get a rough ride in the media, and they get misunderstood by fans.
"But I can't defend this!"
Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara also criticised the Spurs and Arsenal stars, and insisted there's no excuse for leaving their homes when the majority of them live in multi-million pound palaces.
"It's just stupid isn't it," he said on the talkSPORT Breakfast.
"Footballers are under so much scrutiny at the minute and everyone's looking for a story because there is no content around, so anything they put up… I mean, why would you put on Instagram that you are training together and going to the park?
"It's really immature from them, and people are still dying.
"These guys have got beautiful homes and they are on a lot of money; just train at home! You don't need to see your mate in a park in a field.
"You're not in an apartment! I guarantee these boys aren't in an apartment with a balcony, they have big gardens and a nice bit of land.
"Just stay home and stay safe! That's the whole point of this. Keep the pressure off the NHS!"
