Dortmund hosted VfL Bochum on Saturday afternoon and went 3-0 up before half-time.
But attention was on the home fans' pre-match display of anti-Qatar 2022 banners, as the BVB faithful called for fellow football supporters to boycott the tournament.

At the forefront of the yellow wall protest signs, the largest banner read 'BOYCOTT QATAR 2022'.
Another one read 'Qatar Abschalten!', German for 'Qatar switch off!'.
Meanwhile both Bayern and their opponents Hertha Berlin put up banners around the Olympiastadion in the capital.
The home Hertha fans also displayed a large sign reading 'Boycott Qatar 2022' which was positioned to be clearly picked up by TV cameras.

The decision for Qatar to host this year's World Cup has resulted in heavy criticism within football and beyond.
Accusations concerning the treatment of migrant workers and a poor record of human rights have plagued the Gulf state in recent times.

Male homosexuality is punishable by up to three years in prison and same-sex marriages are not recognised by the government.
Women's rights are also much worse than in other parts of the world, with females needing permission from a male guardian to leave Qatar if unmarried and under the age of 25.
BVB won't be playing at the Signal Iduna Park again until January when the league resumes after the tournament, whilst the other protesting fans will be able to see their teams once more before the break.
